Frequently Asked Questions
What funding can be used for these programs?
Our programs can be accessed through various funding pathways including Flying Start Preschool Boost funding (SA), Department for Education initiatives, and other government early learning programs. Our team can help you understand which funding options apply to your centre.
Are Avina's programs on-menu for the official Preschool Boost catelogue?
We’re applying for inclusion on the official menu in the second round. In the meantime, centres can access our programs as off-menu items using up to 20% of their Boost funding. We’ll support you with the administrative requirements to make this process straightforward.
What if we're not part of Flying Start?
That’s fine – our programs are available to all early learning centres through various funding pathways including Department for Education initiatives and other government programs. Contact us to discuss which options apply to your centre.
What AEDC domains do your programs cover?
Our programs span all five AEDC domains: Physical Health and Wellbeing, Social Competence, Emotional Maturity, Language and Cognitive Skills, and Communication Skills and General Knowledge.
Can we combine multiple programs?
Absolutely. Many centres combine educator upskilling with child group interventions or parent workshops to create comprehensive support across multiple AEDC domains. We’ll work with you to design a package that addresses your service’s priorities.
How long does a typical program run?
Program duration varies based on your needs and selected focus areas. Some educator upskilling sessions may be delivered over a few weeks, while ongoing child group interventions might run throughout a term. We’ll discuss timing during the planning phase.
What if we're not sure which programs we need?
Our team can walk you through the various options available, discussing your service’s needs to develop a tailored solution. If you’re not ready to chat yet, download our catalogue which includes a helpful matrix to identify programs aligned to your focus areas.
